My name is Ariel and I am a senior studying Economics with a Math Emphasis. I grew up in an ultra-orthodox Jewish environment where I attended schools that focused almost exclusively on Jewish law and philosophy. I spent a number of years in Israel studying and interning. I transferred to UW in fall 2019. Over the past number of years, my personal exploration has furthered my fascination with and interest in other cultures and traditions. I have come to appreciate the diverse and multifaceted perspectives offered by the world’s many religions and I have been humbled by the immense complexity and nuance contained within each perspective. I look forward to participating in the Interfaith Fellowship Program and to connecting with students from diverse backgrounds who are also drawn to a dynamic, introspective environment of interfaith dialogue.
